Abstrak:

Education about waste, from an early age, needs to be introduced as efforts to manage waste so that awareness and concern are well embedded. It aims as a preventive effort in overcoming bad habits that have become commonplace in everyday life. The habit of throwing garbage out of place is a common phenomenon that can be easily found. One of the learning methods for early childhood is through play or through educational games. Educational games can be used as learning media. Waste recognition learning can be introduced by waste categories, namely Organic and Non-organic Waste. Early childhood is expected to receive an easier learning in understanding the negative effects or dangers of environmental damage caused by littering behavior. So, in this research, an organic and non-organic waste recognition game application using Construct 2 is made. This application can be run on smartphone devices at least version 4.4 (Kitkat). This application can make it easier for students to receive waste material and with this application students can play while learning.
