It employs an empirical legalresearch method to observe law in its practical application and examine how law operates withinsociety. The research findings indicate that (1) Parole revocation for prisoners committing the samecriminal acts in Gorontalo City involves a lengthy and complex process, but in practice, it frequentlyencounters delays due to various obstacles hindering its effectiveness. (2) The primary obstacle is thelack of coordination with the police department, leading to delays in reporting the prisoner's violations.
