This research aims to find out: (1) what is the role of the dispute resolution assembly (MPS) in the results of the village head election in Bone Bolango Regency and (2) what are the inhibiting factors in the role of the dispute resolution assembly (MPS) in the results of the Village Head Election in Bone Bolango Regency. This research uses an empirical normative legal research method which is carried out by research where primary data sources are the norm, and is complemented by data conducted through interviews. In this type of legal research, law is conceptualized as what is written in what is a standard for human behavior that is considered appropriate. The results of this research show that: (1) the role of the dispute resolution assembly (MPS) resulting from the village head election in Bone Bolango Regency includes: conducting examinations of village election disputes, determining the results of village election dispute decisions, providing recommendations on the results of the MPS trial (2) factors inhibiting the role of the assembly dispute resolution (MPS) Results of the Village Head Election in Bone Bolango Regency include: facilities/facilities, law enforcement and lack of budget.
