This research aims to find (1) the form of law application in the criminal act of skimming on Automated Teller Machines (ATM) (Verdict Number: 81/Pid.Sus/2020/PN Gto) and (2) the form of the judge's consideration in handing down the verdict in the case of the criminal act of skimming on Automated Teller Machines (ATM) (Verdict Number: 81/Pid.Sus/2020/PN Gto). The research method is normative or library research using a case approach and a statutory approach. The results of this research indicate that (1) the application of the law applied to the Defendant in the Verdict Number: 81/Pid.Sus/2020/PN Gto., can be viewed from the prison sentence proven by the Panel of Judges at trial under Article 30 Paragraph (1) and Article 32 Paragraph (2) Law Number 19 of 2016 on Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions, and the criminal fine is an alternative cumulative one, and (2) the judge's consideration in cases of criminal acts of skimming in Verdict Number: 81/Pid.Sus/2020/PN Gto is juridical and sociological. In this case, the Panel of Judges imposed a criminal sentence on the Defendant based on the demands of the Public Prosecutor and witness statements. The criminal sanctions were relatively light compared to existing regulations.
