Abstrak:
The study aims to find out the effect of organizational climate and organizational commitment on the work ethic of employees at the Local Water Supply Utility of Gorontalo City, either simultaneously or partially. The main data collection is through a list of statements/questions that are tested through validity and reliability tests. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The object of the study covers organizational climate, organizational commitment, and employees’ work ethic. The result of the first hypothesis shows that organizational climate (X1) and organizational commitment (X2) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employees’ work ethic by 73.2%. The value of 26.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in the study. The result of the second hypothesis indicates that organizational climate (X1) and organizational commitment (X2) partially have a positive and significant effect on employees' work ethic. Organizational climate (X1) partially has a positive and significant effect on employees’ work ethic (Y) by 34.8%. Organizational commitment (X2) partially has a positive and significant effect on the employees’ work ethic (Y) by 63.8%
