Abstrak:
Indonesia has a variety of tropical foods and drinks in each region. Local food and
beverage also have the potential to be developed as a tourism attraction.
Traditional food can be a new adventure for tourists to enrich their culinary taste
experience. Culinary products help support tourism in an area by emphasizing
activities to consume various types of local food and beverage on the menus.
Banggai Laut District has a variety of cuisines of the locals, ranging from snacks
to main courses. Given the high interest and potential for promising culinary
tourism, Banggai Laut District needs a place to facilitate it. Designing a Culinary
Center with a Neo Vernacular Architecture approach can be a solution to realize a
tourism center that attracts tourists.
