The implementation of parole revocation is the part of the correctional system which aims to uphold legal certainty for prisoners who have received parole rights, but violate the stipulated provisions. This study analyzes how the implementation of parole revocation against prisoners in Gorontalo Class II Correctional Center and the factors become obstacles in its implementation. This study uses an empirical method with a qualitative approach that relies on interviews and documentation studies as data sources.The results showed that the revocation of parole in Gorontalo Class II Correctional Center has referred to the applicable regulations, namely Permenkumham Number 7 of 2022. However, there are several obstacles faced, such as delays in issuing revocation decisions, lack of coordination between the police and correctional officers, and limited budget and facilities in implementing revocation. To increase the effectiveness of parole revocation, it is necessary to improve the coordination mechanism between related agencies, provide adequate budget, and improve a faster and more transparent administrative system. Thus, the correctional system can run more efficiently, provide better legal certainty for correctional center clients, and ensure security and order inthe implementation of parole revocation.
